PVC Canopy!

Not really a canopy, more of a Light Shield!

One of our material suppliers carries this stuff and had their front desk made out of it. This material is an aerated pvc board that we got in a 4'x8' sheet. It glues just like regular pvc pipe so no nails or screws were used in the build.

Next is prime and paint....

Snaps on the brace and around the front and sides, so it is easy to remove, and I don't go blind. LOL

it's a little pricey for 1/2" at $200. but there are thinner sheets for less

Thanks, the last corals leave Monday, and then the wait begins.

It is pricey, but we will get two tanks out of it and it will never warp, plus it was cool to work with.

It's hard to say, but it was not easy to break.
Maybe a 1/3rd of what the same thickness in plywood would be.:scratchch
The bond with the glue is not going to break first, I will say that.

I wish I knew about it before we went with all wood (super heavy).
The PVC foam board comes in different colors too.

Maybe I can convince "someone" to have a summer and fall canopy, LOL. :wink1:
