Here is a counter current skimmer design I came up with, it works great and it's easy to build.

Off subject, but curious. In the frag pics you show some of the frags inside small pieces of pvc pipe. What's the purpose of those pipe sections?

I use the pvc to stand up some corals, or to keep them level so they don't rest on their good tissue. In time the corals grow and fill out and don't need to be propped up.
