I have 2 Sea Hares that I purchased a little over a month ago. I had a bad algae bloom and these guys really got rid of it quickly. The problem is that now that there is no more algae for them to eat they may die. I wanted to circulate them on the forum so they can be available to members that are having an algae problem. If you need them right now lmk right away. We can keep track of who has them here in this thread. I am located in Brooklyn, NY.

Here are a few links with good info about them.

Please read my tank post and let me know if I can temporarily host your other one. My tank is overrun by green algae! P.S. Sorry for the outdated pictures!
Here is the live stock of it:
2 Clowns, 1 damsel, a couple of star fishes (serpae & choc chip); mushrooms; kenya trees; sun coral; 4+ turbo snails; small hitch hiker (hermit crab or snail?..); Remains of cheato (all got dispersed?!
Plenty of algae to graze upon.

SEA HARE Back in th Loop! - Please Adopt!

Hi,
I'm putting this wonder creature back in the loop. It survived the tank crash (ammonia of 2.0!)
All LR from my tank is removed so it'll starve to death if not adopted.
Mows hair algae like a lawn mower!
Please PM me or reply if interested.

I guess it's safe to say that the sea hare is dead? I really hope it's not though, please get me wrong. I was wondering if it was still alive.

I have one to give away. Tank is now devoid of algae, and he seems hungry. He is voracious. I think he might be some type of Aplysia species. Actually has a very nice pattern on his body. I live in Astoria, and travel to Jersey City via mass transit every week day. Want to pass him on ASAP, because A: he is hungry and B: I'm trying to get a job that could take me out of town for months, and could start at any moment.
