need a good rodi. any suggestions. i need a decent amount of gpd. i have a 90 reef gonna get a 180 and switching my 14 to a 40 breeder. so i have a lot of water to change. i want something good and thats gonna last. thanks guys

How are the ones from bulk reef supplies? I was thinking about ordering the 75 gpd one myself. IRS 199 but comes with a lot of extras that fire water and ice does not offer. Plus free shipping.

To help you decide, price the replacement filters and availability first.
Some RODI units have really bad service after the sale.

Thanks guys just ordered the air water ice last night 100 gpd with the tds meter

Most are all the same. Sediment filter, chlorine block filter, membrane, and a Di resin chamber.
Some have extra filters or resin chambers, double membranes, and built in Tds meters.

Imo, get a 75 gpd unit as thats the most common size for replacement membranes.

There is only a couple of membrane manufacturers, and they just get re-labeled for use.

Check out prices from the vendors here before u buy.

If it doesn't have a built in Tds, them make sure to get a handheld one as that is a necessity with an RO/Di.

TB aquatic is a vendor here and has great prices on replacement filter packages.

The 75 gpd membrane has a higher rejection rate than the 100. We try to stear people uings an RODI towards the 75 unless they need the faster production from a 100.
