Anyone have aqua controller 1.5

Just picked up a aqua controller 1.5 it's old but I just need it to control my heaters but it dosnt have a temp probe So I'm wondering how it controls the temp? If it's using the heaters thermostat it kinda defeats the whole purpose as I bought it in case the heater breaks
Any help with this controller would be appreciated

Ok there is a port for a temp probe but I can't find a place that sells a temp probe for the aqua controller 1.5 if any vendor can get me right probe please pm me asap

Yes that's the one I'm actually kinda pissed cause by the time I get this thing up an running with new temp probe $44 and ph 40$ I paid 50$ for controller I could have bought a brand new rkl

first download aquanotes from their website its free. install on a pc

then upgrade to the newest firmware. via computer

Sorry to hear, you can still use it for power automation. If you need a temp and pH probe for it, might not be worthwhile to sink more cash into it.

I'm really bad with computers I have a trade set up for a rancho to control my temp which is what I really need then maybe I'll just get a new controller with all ne probes etc for x mas

sorry i thought you had bought the pieces already, no its not, save your money and get the new one thats out. their is nothing wrong with the ranco controllers.

Yeah I got a littel cheated by guy on reef centrel he told me i could get it running for 10$ plus it came with probes but they where old and dried out !
