Mp40 dry side running really hot!

My mp 40 dry side is running so hot can barely leave finger on it! Should I unplug it and send it to vortec ?

Definitely not normal. But I read that the motor is thermally protected and will shutdown should it exceed operating parameters. Do you have a spare/2nd wetside to test with? I've had my MP40 wetside totally score on the inside and melted together, entire wetside was spinning.

Maybe I'll turn off for a bit I have 2 other mp10s and a wave box so sending it INS not big deal

you migt not have it set correctly for the thickness of your glass

I dialed it down and it's only warm too touch now !
