In need of advise on skimmers

Hello everyone I'm new to the site and hope to have a great experience. First of I'd like some opinions on skimmers. I have a 140 gallon fish and live rock tank. What protein skimmer should I purchase to handle 140 gallons. I know I prefer a external one, so if anyone can give me advice I'd greatly appreciate it. Also if anyone has one for sale that meets my needs by all means contact me. Thanks everyone and ttys!

Go to marine depot and other online saltwater sites and look at whAt you like and then return to manhattan reefs and ask for that model , good chances are someone has it for sale! I use an I- tech it's great for me so far. Good luck

Welcome to MR. Do your homework then do more homework. Be care with the ratings manufacture tend do exaggeratethere there ratings. I'm sure there are many menbers here that will help you further.

Reef octopus or atb. If u plan on mixed or sps reef get a skimmer that can handle 250 or more gallons
