Mag float pad replacement issue

I just replaced pads in my mag float.....

On the dry side....i did as per instructions...ie cleaned it with isopropyl alc.....dried it ...

Stuck the pad with pressure....

Now as I'm cleaning the glass, dry side pad is peeling out...
Why is this.pls advice.....am I better off buying a new magfloat? Thanks

It might be a bad pad. I've replaced pads on both dry and wet sides of a magnavore with no problems. you followed the correct procedure, just check the pad.
