are you actually trying to control ORP??? Don't know many people who are. If you are not going to try to control it, then why monitor it. PH is much more important...

Well if you want to use everything, then you should get an additional PM1 if you really want the ORP. that will also give you another temp probe where you can put into QT or Water change.
I am not messing with orp, just another probe to buy. If I were you, look at the PM2 for the addition of Conductivity (salinty). Expensive probe, but def much more worth the investment.

+1 to thirty5. If your not running ozone, there is no reason to monitor ORP.
thanks guys i wont be getting the ORP probe.
the PM2 is a 200$ investment. i guess its worth it...
at the moment the apex jr has the temp probe and the PM1 has a temp probe outlet which i will utilize for wc and i will get the PM2 when i progress some more in this crazy addictive hobby.

My next buy for my apex is def the PM2 and conductivity probe. I already have a break out box that will be used when i get my lazy a$$ to hook up my auto water change system...
