DYI LED recommendations.

I am thinking of building an LED for my Fuge. Right now I am using 6500k CF bulbs.

My fuge is fairly large and only has some chaeto and few hermits and snails in it. I want to put a frag rack in there for growout of some zoas.

The fuge is probably about 24 x 24 x 20 (water volume about 30 gallons).

I am thinking of building light unit, but I have no idea what actual parts to buy. Putting it together will not be an issue at all.

But the parts list, like how many lights. what colors and stuff like that is what I have no clue about.

This will be a basic on and off unit (no need to dim, unless it is overpowered and burning the stuff in the fuge)

So if anyone can help me out with a parts list that would be great!

By the time you put your parts list (heat sink, fan, drivers, wire, LEDs) together, it might be cheaper to look into a chinese branded unit that leans towards the white spectrum.

if its only for your fuge save some money and go with some cheap chinese bridgelux LEDs
