I have one in a 100g tank running with two in line reactors and it's enough. I am not a strong believer in a huge turnover either, in my opinion an Eheim 1260 creates ideal flow through the sump in a 60-100g tank. I tried 1262 on my setup and it was too much flow. That's all IMHO, of course:)

agreed, return pump isnt for flow, and ive never been a fan of huge water turn over through a sump, gives less reaction time for skimmer at a faster rate through sump

1260 and 1262 = same pump.. Just have to switch out one part... Simple just in case you want to try... It'll cost ya 5.99 plus shipping to change your 1260 to a 1262

This kind of blows my mind. I have a 1260 on a 120g + 40g sump/fuge and thought I wanted more turnover, but didn't want to spend if I didn't have to. If I can make a 1262 out of a 1260 for 6$...

Well I'm boggled. Thanks Nottick :)
