Another camera question

I am going to get an IP camera to view my tanks which are in NJ. I am looking at 1mp and 2mp cameras. Bandwith speed requirements are about the same but the 1mp does 720p at 25fps while the 2mp does 1080p at 15fps. Which of the two should I go with?

Problem with that is I need pan and tilt since I have 3 tanks stacked on a rack. It will be on the ceiling duct drop about 8 feet from tanks.

BTW I emailed you about CUC a couple of days ago but didn't get a response.

that depends on whats more important to you. how sharp the video or how choppy the video.

I just found out that my return tube popped off the jebao dc6000 causing a huge mess. If I had a camera perhaps I would have caught it

Ok I ordered the 2mp pan/tilt ip camera from Amovision will let you know how it works:

Got the camera and have it setup. I can't figure out how to view it remotely though. I have it set to port 1234 and forwarded in my router. I also setup a no-ip.org host but either using that or my wan ip its not working. The weird part is it works just fine on my cell phone. However I can't find the settings in the app as you just scan or put in your camera ID and it works automagically.

i can build and repair a computer in 30 min. but when it comes to this stuff it boggles my mind :arg: i would think it would be the same as setting up an apex with a different port number.

Yeh it should but my Neptune isn't working either. I think Comcast is blocking the ports. I am really good at this networking stuff too so will have to be patient with their "tech" support.
