DC Pump for Closed loop

Thinking about running dual Diablo DC pumps for my closed loop. Alternating sequence, similar to the mp master slave setups. Anyone have experience with DC pumps. Reliability? Noise levels? Plumbing thru rock formations. This is a 700 gallon dt, also running 2mp 60s
