16" or 48" fixture?

Haven't posted here in a while. Finally finishing up building my custom stand for the 75g and am getting ready for starting my reef up.

I was always considering getting 2 of the 16" reefbreeders LED fixtures, but just noticed that they also have a 48" fixture. Which one would you recmend for a 48" long tank with the middle bar in place? I am willing to spend the extra money on the 2 smaller fixtures, but would on the other hand love to save some $$$ for other reef related expenses.

I would get two smaller fixtures that 48" will probably be too much light remember it spreads as it leaves the lens.

Also if one day you decide to go to a 6 foot tank all you would need is one more light. If you go to a small foot print you remove one. Just more wiggle room.

any advice on optics? i was thinking of 90 for all and 120 for reds and moonlights (i think it might be the standard). TIA
