Micro bubbles :-(

I'm have a Micro bubble problem,
I have a 30g DIY sump/refgium that I was using in a 55g setup I had with no problem. I sold that tank and now I'm using it for my 90 gallon setup with same pump mag-5 ..the only thing changed is that the 90g is reef ready and it seams that the water is draining to fast . Is there any way to slow the drain water ?? If possible.

It's causeing the water to cascade fast in the last baffle and it creates bubbles.

i know that people are gonna say this is a problem but i put a ball valve on both the return and the drain and played with them till i dialed it in i have a 90 aga rr i am using an eshopps sump and shut the drain completly with the pump running and it didnt overflow cause the baffles in the sump stoped the water

u can put a valve on the drain side to slow the flow. garys reef has one on his 90. maybe he can post a pic.

Hey I might just give that a try
If that don't work then I might just get a new sump.

Do you have a ball valve after your return pump? You could try dialing that back a little.
