Alot of people was asking me about how this reactor performs. IMO it was a good design but there is a major flaw in the check valve. After a short while in using it the check valve failed which allowed the resevoir water to become full of kalk. The input and output of the reactor was 1/2inch hose and needs a pump with a little pressure so the mechanism can stir the kalk solution.
I tried cleaning it thorougly and even getting replacement check valves from Tlf and still come back to a kalk in the resevoir and the reactor empty. I regret my purchase I should have went with a more expensive kalk reactor with stirrer. ....im not too mad, I just feel like o got what I paid for. I am currently using a home depot bucket, aqualifter pump and never been happier. Lol
