Lysmata and golden pearl as first food ?

Does anybody has ever try to breed lysmata with golden pearl (20-80um) as first food.

I have not head of people using goldern pearls as fry food. I guess you could try it, just ensure your water quality is good.
As an important aside Louis Z had posted this information on where to read mor einfo on raising shrimp fry.

Other sources: Summer issue of Seascope 2002 has article on rearing Lysmata rathbunae. Get a free issue from LFS or contact them Aquarium Systems. The literature cited in the article has a paper listed [Palmtag,M.R. & G.J.Holt, 2001. Captive rearing of the fire shrimp. A Texas Sea Grant College Program Research Report]. Also look for info listed under reprints in the Breeders Registry for an online Seascope article on Lysmata wurdemanni. Again Seascope Fall of 99 had an article on mysid shrimp rearing which you can find online at seahorse.org
