Has a temperature range of 72 - 83?F (22 - 28?C) and has a natural diet of algae and benthic invertebrate. Requires well-oxygenated water and a large living space. Feeds on most foods offered including fortified brine shrimp, mysis, flake food, and dried seaweed (nori), macroalgae, and requires two or three feedings per day. Easily contracts Marine Ich. One per tank and a constant grazer. Up to 10 inches.

I'd like to give you an answer on tank size, but the previous post was just something I came up with on a quick internet search. I've never kept one, so I can't say anything I can back up with experience.

i have kept one. real sensative fish. i dont suggest small ones. also diet has to be well prepared and levels of nitrate down. also they demand a high flow inside tank to swim against. make sure they arent shedding there natural slime and no predatory fish as well
