So i have had my flame angel for about 2 1/2 -3 weeks so far. been doing ok. but hasn't eaten any food i throw into the tank, which i wasn;t too worried since i know he likes to nibble on stuff on the rocks and sponges. got some formula 2 food today and tried it out. hasn;t nibbled but seen him picking at a piece that got lost in the rockwork inside.

I wouldn't be too worried but i noticed him thinning out. not like deathly thinning but thinner none the less. Should i start to worry? think he will come out to feed sooner or later?

its a 24g and the rockwork doesn;t have that much to pick at considering its going on 2 1/2 months.

Put some Nori on a clip in the tank and let him graze on it, or some seaweed snacks would work too.

new world aquarium and payed an arm and a leg for it. but i got a deal since i go there for my cichlid stuff and got my tank there and all the LR and sand.

Here is an old pic of when i first got him and sorry the quality is terrible on him. He isn't out alot and when i come by the tank he goes back to hiding if he does go out so good luck getting a good pic of him.

yeah all the way to the back, but planning on redoing the rockwork in about 2-3 weeks. Small changes but hesitant due to a chance that my ammonia might spike with the sturring of the sand and the waste kickup.

BTW i cut up and threw in some pieces of frozen angel formula into the rockwork where he usually hides (reg and formula 2) and he looks a little plumper. i'll see how it goes this next week or two. And thanks Randy for the nori. snuck a peek at him munchin on it before he seen me and ran.
