Tank is not ready yet but Im trying to make a stock list for my 180 FOWLR once it is. One fish I really want is a Majestic Angel. Also like lemon peels and flame angels. As far as tangs I like Sohals but was told their to aggressive. Like powder blue, purples and blonde naso. Australian harl tusk and green bird wrasse. Looking for combinations that would probably work. Also other fish I might not have listed. Thanks for any input.

I thought you had another thread with bunch of replys to it?
Are you going to qt the fish? If not I would pass on the tangs for awhile. I would stick with the tusk, a few from the wrasse family, the big eye catalufa ( spelling) cool bright red colored fish for a fowlr, maybe some anthers to dart in and out and add some activity to tank. Clown trigger is a cool exotic looking fish.
I have a few smaller angels and really like them, trio of watanbie angels would be nice.

Thanks for the response. Actually I don't have a QT tank but I was thinking of breaking down my 90 gallon FW tank and making it into one. I really have everything I need as far as equipment. I would just have to cycle it first. I was thinking of starting with Green Chromis and a Majestic angel. I read that adding the Majestic first will allow it time to acclimate and that the Chromis will act as dithers.

90 would be huge qt tank, cool as long as your just observing the fish
If had to treat some of the mess require large water changes which makes it more difficult than really should be. The more difficult the less likely you would be to qt properly

I understand. Maybe I'll just stay away from tangs since I wouldn't truly be able to QT. I remember a few years ago when I first tried SW I actually paid extra for a certain store to QT a fish for me only to go pick up the fish and it was in a big holding tank with many other fish. Really is a shame because I think many hobbyist would be willing to pay more for QT fish. At least I know I would. What do you think of me putting my Majestic with some Chromis once the tank has cycled?
