tank is a 150 cube, toying with idea of upgrade to 250 DD but timing might be just off

anyways, upgrade or not I would like to add something to the current fish list, interested in some ideas

tank has a pair of davinci clowns, 5 evansi anthias, a hippo tank, bristeltooth tang, watanbei angel, jap masked swallowtail angel, pair of pylie (something light that) wrasse, a bangaii bardinal, and two large cleaner shrimp

My 150's current stock list is:
Yellow Tang
Purple Tang
Sailfin Tang
Atlantic Blue Tang
Lyretail Anthias Male (looking to add 3-5 females)
Matted Filefish
Diamond Goby
Bluehead Fairy Wrasse
Yellowfin Fairy Wrasse
Yellow Coris Wrasse
3 Pajamas Cardinals
6 Chromis
Blue Mandarin Goby
Regal Angel
Lamarck Angel
2 Cleaner Shrimp
2 Fire Shrimp
4 Sexy Shrimp
4 Peppermint Shrimp? (I think they're still there?)

This is what I'm looking to add:
Fish:
Bellus Angel
Swallowtail Angel
Algae Blenny
Midas Blenny
3-5 Female Lyretail Anthias
4 Ocellaris Clown
Double-Bar Rabbitfish
Cleaner Wrasse
Flasher and Fairy Wrasses
Clams:
Squamosa
Crocea
Hippopus

Just to give you an idea. I'm probably a bit ahead of myself since I used to have a 210, I'm probably sticking to that stocking mentality lol

some cool suggestions. I have never had any gobies or blennies.. My tank is bb not sure if that would matter or not. I have tried a sunrise dotty and foxface, neither made it past a few months. I actually have a purple dotty in the tank, somewhere but have not seen it in white some time so I didn't list it as it may have died and been eaten by my cuc

Hmmm you could do it, I saw your rockwork and it's much more open than mine and I used to have a Vlamingi in the 150 back when I first transferred all my fish from my 210. Unfortunately those fish passed away from ich shortly after but he looked good in the tank.

anyone have experience with heniochus butterflies? I know not reef safe, was wondering if the eat polyps only or all corals on the menu

I had heniochus twice and they're ok, not perfect. IME one was a good sport, no picking at anything. The last one was picking a little, not destructive but not perfect. My biggest fear is usually if they go after my clams because polyps keep reproducing so if they eat them it just helps with keeping them groomed. Also, I feel like butterfly fish are almost as prone as hippo tangs to disease so quarantine properly if you plan on keeping one.

I was also thinking of getting a chevron tang. Max reef has had them for around $85-95 which is a great price so very tempting. I always liked the dwarf angels as well, very stricking colors on some of them. As a few examples, lemonpeel is bright bright yellow, eilbli is super green, midnight is jet black, potters/coral beauty/rusty are beautiful combos of blues/purples/orange/reds, goldflake is a raw gold color and that's almost all of the common ones lol
