Help with girdled wrasse

Had this wrasse in qt for a week. He seemed weak from the start and was swimming a little off. Had cupramine at .3 when he entered and started bringing it up. Sometimes he swims fine and is eating and then sometimes like this. I added carbon yesterday to start removing cupramine. Anyone ever see this before? Any diagnosis? And is it a goner? Swim bladder issue?
From all the times I've seen this, there is usually no recovery.

I thought the same thing but I was told he was fine where I recieved him from. Can swim bladder show up from shipping?

Sorry to hear...I haven't had great results with girdled wrasses, presently on my third in 2 years... It's still alive for about a year, unfortunately after about 2 months in the tank, he decided that he wanted to be called Caitlyn, and has returned to female colors!

Shouldn't be, where I got it from supposedly holds them for 4-6 weeks
