Why my tang has parasite?

My heater is broken, waiting for a new one hopefully it will be here soon. Then I noticed that my purple tang start getting white spot, I believe thats parasite, is that becoz of the temperture keep changing in the tank? In the day time, it was 73-74 then when the lights kick in at night it went up to 76-78.

Yes. Especially if nothing else has changed in the tank. How long have you had the tang?

I had it for a week....ant the same the heater was out
