In the four weeks that I've had him, my Lawnmower Blenny has completely removed all of the algea from my tank. It looks awesome again but, what is he going to eat now? I tried and algea waffer but he showed no interest at all! Is there any reasonable alternative?
Anyone who has algea problems should get one of these guys. They are fmor fun to watch than any of my other fish!

I personally never had any luck with lawnmower blennies. Had two different ones and niether made it for more than a few months. I lost one in a tank that was full of algea.

Others have had success, so hopefully they will chime in and give you their 2 cents worth.

just a suggestion, maybe you could try some lettuce? but remember to clean it before putting it into your tank, if not you could try some frozen brine shrimp maybe it could do some help.

dry foods such as spectrum and ocean nutrition. or frozen like blood worms, mysis shrimp, or krill. In my 150 i have a bi-color blenny and a queen blenny that eat everything i give the fish and the algea.

Hi there,

I would try to make a paste of different flakefoods enriched with vitamins and put that on a piece of rock> let it dry for a few days!
After drying the food put the rock back in your tank and your blenny, hopefully, will accept this for dinner!

Good luck :D
