I'm about to purchase a smalll (20 gal/10 gal sump) established reef system. I'm told that the two false perculas (2.5 inches) and bi-colored blennie have slowly "killed" two Pacific anenomies, a "torch" and a "bubble" coral in the past by "rubbing against them all the time." I was also told that a local shop owner said that "small anenomies get worn out by too much percula 'love'" Does this make sense to anyone?

I dont know if this will help or not. I say it depends on the size of the fish. I have a large maroone gold that Manhandle three differnt LTA, and i think that was one resaon, another is the LTA never could move around the clown kept it were she wanted to.. I bought a huge BTA, it attached itself to the gless and crawled up to the top. now everyone is happy, my female laid eggs, my male enjoys the life style and the BTA is alive.
so dont purchase a small anemone, try to get one that is way bigger than the fish but one hat will fit in your tank
