my raccoon butt had some parasites. After treating with copper in qt he has turned white. Well not completely white but very washed out and faded pigentation. Why did this happen? Will he return to noral coloration?

I am guessing that the white coloration is due to stress. It is attempting to "blend in" and hide in the QT. I would highly recommend you add some structure for the fish to hide in/around and darken the tank a bit. PVC, eggcrate, anything plastic that can be cleaned readily is good for structure.

Once it get accustomed to being in the tank, the coloration should come back. Just do what you can now to minimize the stress (blocking 3 sides of the tank with dark paper or paint is a good way to start).
