I am thinking of getting another black ocellaris to be a mated pair with my 5 year old. Do I just buy a smaller one and put it in the tank ?
I understand the my current one will become the female since it is going to be the bigger of the 2.

Will I have a mated pair or will I have the War of the Roses ?
How do you lessen the chance of conflict ?

First off let me say that I am no expert nor did I sleep in a Holiday Inn express last night. But I have a mated pair of black ocellaris. I added a smaller one approx 1 year after the first was introduced. I'm not saying you have to wait a year as ocellaris are usually very easy going. I would not suggest this with maroon clowns though. yes I tried with with maroons and felt horrible for weeks. Anyway my pair have laid eggs many times but I have yet to try to raise the fry.
