What do algae blenny eat?

I purchased an algae blenny about 2 weeks ago to help with my hair algae and he doesn't seem to be eating any of it. Now I'm scared he's not eating anything and is starving to death. Please help.

I feed my fishes small pellets and unfortunately all my fishes eats all the pellets before it reaches the bottom of the tank.

try mysis shrimp. my blennie did not eat for the first two weeks also, now he swims to the top of the tank during feeding, eats like a beast

Mine hasn't stoped eating since I got him .I would look at his stomach it may sound stupid but mine eats until he's huge .

What do algae blenny eat?

I thought these guys would eat my hair algae or at least pick at it. Now I tried feeding him nori no luck. Next I tried pellets and now cyclopeeze. Nothing. Do they only eat at night? What is the deal?

What is your algae blenny eating right now?

Most start off eating microalgae from live rock and the glass. Some progress to eating along with your other fishes. Eventually, my old blenny ate everything I fed the tank.

algea, they scrap it off rocks glass almost anything

mine is not really doing that on some occasions i do catch him doing that but his stomach is so small now

mine eats algae off my glass and pellets i feed my tank

aglea bennies r suppose to eat micro algea, but a lot of them from LFS starve to death. not sure why they dont eat. few that do eat r hardy.

algae blennies eat micro algae. If your tank is super clean like many sps tanks, it may starve.
