One thing, Mr.Eel surved the orangetoad fish eviction papers.lol Orangetoad is roaming the tank looking for a new apartment.;)

What cover do you have on that tank..and are those (gulp) artificial corals in there?

He is huge!;) That is part of the AWESOME find, his size, health, and price. Unbelievable find. Thank You Michael Stern!!
The tank has the versa tops with the plastik extension(thank you VJ&POOPS). Sealed better then Fort Knox!LOL No way he is getting out.. And yes, those are artificial corals, PetCo out by me is closing so everything was 50% off. So, why not?;) As the fish grow, and need more room they will be removed.:)

I'll get more pics of the Toadfish when I get a chance. The toad like the eel are very secretive animals. They are seldom out.:rolleyes: But they are gorgeous animals none the less.:hug:

help with blue ribbon eel

I recently purchased a blue ribbon eel and i he keeps goin in the overflow box... I saw a post to use gutter guard (is that for house gutters) and a strainer . what type of strainer to block the eel but to allow same water flow? and what hardware did u use to affix it ... also Q# 2 how do i get this guy to eat thanks for all who answers
