Not very nutritious or filling for a fish that size. Would take an awful lot of ghost shrimp to fill him. You could always gut pack them with some supplements (lots of work though).

Feeder fish are easier and it is their natural diet.

Mine eats prawn now. Pretty easy to gut load ghost shrimp IME and the ones we collect get the size of peppermint shrimp. Only 3-4 of them and my stonefish would be full for a few days at its current size

It is a pretty boring fish. It eats once a week. Other than eating, it barely moves.

Wow! Such a cool dude, or dudette... is there a way to tell whether they are male or female?

Not that it really matters. I typically call all 'ugly' fish girls and better looking fish boys (just because doesn't matter if they are the reverse in reality--lol)...
