Yellow Tang

Well guys about 3 weeks ago I posted a thread about getting rid of my yellow tang because he was tormenting my purple bad. Well thanks to you guys I got him. I bought a trap and it worked like a charm. Man when the door shut he flipped, he knew and was pissed. What a great day for the purple guy, he's swimming again peacefully.

surprised that the yellow tang was more aggressive than the purple, i had a purple tang that was a horror show

was the yellow tang already established in the tank when you added purple? usually they come down after a while..how big is the tank?

i had the yellow first then added the purple a few months later. At first yes the purple did screw with the yellow a little but not enough for him to hide, the the yellow turned and became very aggressive, to the point where the purple would hide all day and the yellow would gaurd the cave so he wouldnt come out. Man he was hard to catch, it was like he knew what I was trying to do. Guys Im still in shock that I got him out, Boom right to Greenwich Aquaria in one of there 10 g retail tanks. Oh he's pissed.

Yes i remember the yellow terror .Well as long as the yellow guy wasn't harmed in the making of this thread i'm happy.

nope the yellow guy is very healthy, in fact when I brought him to the LFS they were surprised how bright and solid he is. Should have sold him on this board, I loved that fish but he was just to ruleing

Its called the trap, THE BIGEST one they have, its like 3"x 9" and tell ya it works well, $42 but well worth it.
Marine depot sells it,but its made here in Derby ,Ct

Now that you don't have use for it you can probably rent it out .
