I'm not 100% sure yet if I want to get rid of my SPS and some fish. My time has been limited lately and I have been traveling alot as well. My tank is taking a beating right now and all my SPS are showing it, include the fact that the Bio-Pellets wiped out all of my bird nest colonies as well. I'm undecided as of now, but if I do cut back there will be plenty of SPS and some really hard to find pieces like a true YELLOW tabling Acro. Think Red Planet just solid Yellow.

I did the same thing. I basically have a FOWLR now. It's better to bite the bullet and get rid of stuff than watch it die if you don't have time.

What happen with the bio pellets?
I don't have a certain answer as to what happened exactly. All I know is I followed the directions and the next morning 2 of my Birdsnest were dead. I meant Cantolupe sized that I started last August from 1/2 frags. Then a 3rd birdsnest died. They were the ORA green, ORA bird of paradise and some blue birdsnest, not sure of the name but was my favorite coral. I have removed the Bio pellets but half of my SPS are faded bad. Even my Acans closed up, they are starting to return to normal. But the SPS aren't gaining any colors backs and PE is almost none. I have done almost 50 gallons in water changes the past 3 weeks to try and get the bad stuff out. All paramiters are in line, They cyano outbreak from the pellets is starting to receed and among all of this my Koralia 2 I had in the back died and the new one I bought didn't work. So onto another one tomorrow. I think I might get rid of a few fish, so when things calm down I can put the Black tang in this tank.

I know the feeling of losing everything, you feel like why go on.....
I read some horrible storys with pellets but good ones also. Maybe you had a bad batch or reaction. I would say stay but have only softies and work you way back or do what beerfsh says. Just sucks when watchng frags grow to just die over night.

Well, I'm not getting rid of everything, My Chalices are doing awesome still and so are my Zoas, And my Acans are all back to normal almost, Just the SPS seem to still be reacting badly and instead of them fading away I think I'm just gonna sell them off.
