Well here is my nano tank in progress Day 2
Features: Fiji and TBS rock, DSB, 3 types of macro, hermits, 1 snail, 18watt 50/50 lighting, 100 GPH pump and a spot next to my computer
I gotta agree with the cali on this one. The tank is small so its going to take less time to get out of control. That stuff is really hard to get off the rocks. You dont want it in your main tank.
I really like the aquascaping! Can't wait to see it with some corals. Is it a 10? I built a hang on fuge for around $20 for my old 10 and just had the macro growing there.
However, in my 20 I have red algea that I need to 'rent' someone's tang to clean up. But the two strands of calurpa are doing okay. I keep them trimmed back, and they ad a nice splash of plant life to the tank. If you keep it trimmed back, I don't think your tank will suffer too badly.
it does look big doesnt it, its acutally a 5.5. The aquascaping looks better in person proly cuz my camera sux. What is amazing is my nano has clearer water than my damn main tank. Its crystal clear. I dont think ill need a fuge for it yet ill keep an eye on it and see how it does.
