Moving a 150...need help/advice

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone local to long island/Nassau has ever used a moving crew to relocate a large tank. I have a friend that needs an older 150 moved from his parents basement to my house! Lol. I had a couple strong guys today and they couldn't do it... Wondering if there are any services that do this?

Also, are tanks made nowadays lighter than tanks made say 10-20 years ago? Thinner glass?

try to get a hold of suction cups, it makes the move a lot easier, as far as thinner glass I don't think so. Their is a certain guide line they use when building tanks. If the tank has tempered glass yes it can be thinner, but 99% of the time the only part of a tank that is tempered id the bottom.
