Just curious in knowing who runs moonlights all night?
For the past month--my firefish is running on a different sleep cycle than my other fish.. this guy is wakkin up around 9 pm when my lights are goin of and he stays up till like 4-5 am. I run moonlights all night.. i always have. i planning on turning them off to see if my fish will go to bed but curious in knowing if turning off lights will have any affect on my corals since i have always run them at night?

I have moonlights built into my light that run 24/7 with no on/off switch so I run them all night. Your fish will obviously utilize the lower lights for sleeping rather than the more intense lights, it just takes some fish a little time to get used to not sleeping in complete darkness, whether it be from when they were at a pet store or before you had moon lights.. Anyway, as long as the fish is lively, eating, and healthy, I wouldn't worry too much about his sleeping habits.

Edit: Forgot about your last request about the effect on corals.. When all my other lights are off and my moon lights are the only lights on, my corals close up as they would if the light was completely off, so I found that it poses no threat or substantial benefit to corals.
