I just finished reading an article in TFH magazine about leopard wrasses and their care. It was mention that they were finnicky eaters. It also mentions and I quote " also make sure to perform the time-tested acid test to ensure that the fish will feed on the foods that will be offered".

Anyone know what this test is, and what it actually determines?

i did lots of acid testing in college, but i dont think that will help here.

maybe just try feeding them whatever you plan to feed at home while you in the store and see if they take it?

I agree with Jon, I think they are simply using the phrase in it's simplest form..'if the fish will eat - you're good to go'.
