Hi Guys,
I just moved into a new place, my roomates and i are currently splitting the bill. How the heck do i figure out the KWH, i am looking at the bill and there is a basic generation rate and delivery rate....there are several #, do i just add the highest together to avoid fighting? Look at my forumla:
If the highest electricity rate is $0.116/kwh
and the highest delivery charge is $0.057
= (kw used)*(hours on)*(rate)
=(0.8)*(8)*0.116*31 (note: *31 because 8 hours per day for a whole month, or 31 days)
23.0144 electric costs per month
11.3088 delivery costs per month
34.3232 total cost per month
Is this correct?
Please help? :type:
