where i can i harvest halimeda in li/queens?

people have mentioned it grows in our area, anybody know where in li or queens they have seen it? any other algaes or reef items along with it would be good to know

Not sure who is telling you it is growing around here as halimeda grows in tropical waters.

Easier to harvest it from your LFS

The only way to "harvest" it in NY involves a little "B" and some "E" at a fellow reefers house. Or you can purchase it from some stores or members.
