Wanted to hear what you feed your tank? fish and coral... and any special precautions you do with the food? rinse/dose with any vitamins/liquid supplements ect... and how often? with todays world there is so many types of frozen/pelleted foods. im personally thinking about switching my feeding schedual/brand/ect... it is getting too expensive lately with frozen and liquid foods i use, and wanted to hear what you guys feed.....:Hydrogen:

Spectrum pellets, mysis, and cyclopeze. all pretty cheap.

funny you mention spectrum pellets jon, because thats exactly what i was thinking of switching too. i saw pauliewalnuts feeding his fish the same and his fish loved it. i thinking of switching to spectrum pellets mainly, and every now and then few days some mysis and plankton mixed with the ESV freeze dried phyto. i just wanted to also hear some ideas on what people also feed...

i feed frozen mysis and frozen brine shrimp. i also made my own frozen blend which i feed once a week. it consists of mysis/rods/cyclopeeze/garlic/oysterfeast/rotifitters/squid. i use to feed pellets but i notice i would get a lil algae build up on glass so i stopped.(running no skimmer)

haha, yeah i know how it is mixing and creating my own blend of food.

this was my thread on what i use to feed

its just too expensive anymore. no companies do sales anymore for cheap shipping and all so im tired of it. i cannot afford to get all this anymore. i lately have been been buying the big flat sheet of frozen plankton and feeding that and the ESV phytoplankton. thats it. im thinking about getting out of the frozen foods now.

is pelleted food just as dirty as frozen? i figure most of the pellets sink fast and just get stuck under live rock, so im guessing i should stock up on hermit crabs?

no idea if pellets are dirtier or not. but they are a hell of a lot easier, and it seems like less uneaten junk to get stuck in the rocks. also, i used to have a leopard wrasse before i killed it, and the spectrum pellets were the only ones he would eat. he died but i stuck with the pellets.

and ryan - the pellets float for quite a while. my fish get them all before any sink. (i use the really little ones)
