I am brand new here and just through I'd say hi.

I live in Northern NJ right across from the GWB. (Cliffside Park).

I have been toying with the idea of setting up a saltwater tank. I live in an small-ish older house - one level of a two family I own with my sister. Anyway, because the house & floors are so old, I'm thinking I need to go with a smaller tank - the BioCube was highly recommended to me at the pet store, and they also sold me on "Saltwater Aquariums for Dummies" :lol2:

I have literally just started my research and stumbled upon this site. I'll probably mainly lurk, at least for a while until I get my own tank, but I wanted to say a quick hello. :)

Welcome. I would suggest used 34 g solana which you could get for around $500. Less clutter for it got filtrations within the tank. An NJ reefer got one for sale, just search solana on "search". Don't ever forget to get some chiller.

Hey, welcome to MR! Any of the All In One systems would be good for you. JBJ, Solana, Bio-Cube, all are good choices. Best advice is read and ask as many questions as you can. There are plenty of really nice reefers up your way and I am sure that they would be willing to do what they can to help you get up and running. Good Luck!

I had 2 aquapods and 2 biocubes in the past i now run a 34 gallon solana and in my opinion it is by far the best small all in one tank on the market. I got mine at saltwatercritters.com russ can set you up with everything you'll need. The tank may run you a few bucks more now but its worth it in the long run
