Question about clowns

I have noticed my clown swimming to the bottom kicking sand around then swimming back to normal. Is this a certain behavior they do? He has been doing this a few months now. It looks cool but I have had to use turkey baster alot.

it is normal. the females seem to do it more. also some species like maroons do it a lot more.

if you put a rock or piece of tile on the spot and give here something to clean you can cut down on the sand storms.
