Mushrooms and toxins

i have some people coming to cut some mushrooms off my rocks in the next couple of days.i have done it before just without SPS in the tank..will cutting these shrooms cause toxins and possibly kill off my SPS.should i take the rock out

I doubt it would kill anything but I would take the rock out and cut them in a separate bucket or rubbermaid container etc.
