Just bought a digital thermometer and relized that my tank is running very cool 74 -76 I raised both my heaters I think I need a new heater what size heaters should I get I run 2 of them 1 in overflow one in sump

TIP: Get a Reef Keeper Lite or something similar. Set the RKL to 79 degrees and set the temp on the heater to 83.

You need a temp control device to safe guard the system from the heater.

As for the heater, just spend the extra money for a good one.

your sure thats right? I think if your running a chiller that can be right but if not maybe your thermometer is off. My tank with AC on 70degs my tank stays at 80-81 with leds

It was checked by a laser thermometer
b4 the digital I was using a mercury old fashion one I think it was off I brought the temp up to 79 over course of a day and a half
