simple question, i hope

excuse the lack of proper terminology:

i bought a grey hose to connect the bulkhead on the tank to sump: the hose doesnt fit the builk head and the previous owner glued the bulkhead in place so i am unable to swap it out. would i be able to buy an adapter to make it fit or simply get a clamp and tighten in place?

id love to take a pic, but the Mrs. took camera to lbi for the weekend. the hose fits perfectly on the 1" bulkhead on the sump if that helps

if it has a pvc glued to it the inner diameter of the hose has to be 1/4" bigger then the pvc size. also try boiling water and submerge your hose and see if that works

It may be a tight fit. That is one connection you do not want to leak.
