I have 5 thermometers in my tank, all with different readings. From probes to simple drop in thermometers...

What do you trust to use to tell your tempature? And why?

Throw out the lowest and highest, average the rest. I'd say your at about 79?. As far as accuracy I would go with probes as long as you know they have been calibrated recently and correctly.

What good is a chiller if u don't know what temp ur tank is

To check your probe do it the easy way. First fill a glass with ice to the rim. Then add water till it is at the rim also. Now put probe in the glass. Your temp in the glass should be around 32.1-32.6 due to the volume of ice to water the water gets very close to freezing point. Just my $0.02

I am going to try that, thanks man. Ohh and works like a charm. Cooled it down within 2 hours! Temp is... Well as you just read haha.
