What can be causing slick

Ive been having film develop on top of my water for sometime. I was told my overflow pipe was to high so i lowered it and redid the drain plumbing. It now drop 4 to 5 inches into overflow. It went away for awhile and i noticed 3 days ago it came back.where can it be coming from.its not as bad as before but its still there. Before i lowered the pipe it almost completly covered the top now its a small area to the left of the tank im usually good at figuring this minor stuff out but this is driving me crazy.

U need more flow hitting the top this way it will brake it down

I have the return hitting the top so hard its making air bubbles in the tank

Could it be any of the food you are feeding? Maybe leaves stuff behind

i use mysis and phyto which i rinse out.i havent feed the tank sinse thursday and its there today

u need more flow hitting the top this way it will brake it down

i turned my pumps upward toward the surface and that cleared it up
