Last night i turned the lights on and noticed a red colored "thing" looked more like the arm of a serpent star than worm. I immediately thougth it was a bristle worm. Since it was after 1am i decided to leave it be and not get sucked into MR even later than that. i have pic on my cell phone but I never seem to get the pics uploaded, ill try again when my buddy gets to work.
The suspected worm is about an inch or so, red colored, with bristles on ends. it was just hanging out ontop of the sand bed near some rocks. i realize they are not a bad thing to have in the tank as it cleans sand ect... i am not feeling it!
from reading some older threads i can remove the worm, just not touch it for fear of being stung. i read something on traps, can you simply net the thing, or grab with tongs?
i love the look of six line wrasse, but they are not an option for the bully factor: anything else make a meal out of bristle worms? as always, TIA
