I have one on my PH It works great. It was in my 29g on a PH and worked better than I had expected. Go for it just remember to clean it when you do you monthly tank maint.

No scarf it needs a tubular output similar to a pewersweep or an aquaclear.

i got 2 for my maxi 1200's, from there, and they looked like they were working even though they are huge and bulky, but after just 1 day they both stopped, got stuck, when i took them off they broke apart like cheap happy meal toys. i called petwarehouse and gettin a refund because imo they suck.

I was actually thinking of getting 1 for my return from the filter and 1 for my other PH.

They are big, they do work with proper cleaning, I just gave in and bought a Red Sea wavemaker, no hassle, plenty of turbulence. :tub:

The Hydors are pretty cool, as it keeps the water moving instead of a direct flow.
My corals responded pretty well.

It does reduce the flow of the power-head though & if you have small snails, they will get stuck causing it to stop rotating.
It's a bit bulky as well.
