Looks like he's using the older kit in the video. My old Salifert kit's instructions calls for 2 drops of KH-Ind, but the newer one says 4 drops; both in high resolution test. Follow the instructions that came with your kit.

protein skimmer not working. did a water change today , i turned my Protein skimer back on, realized its not working . wt heck , should i buy a new pump or have to buy a new protein skimmer , and if i do need a new one , what kind should i get? i have a 120 gallon

No , I ran out of it . It's on the way . Gonna do a water change now , cuz my protein skimmer stopped working for few days .
