Clowns Question???

Had my Naked pair for a while and while they are anemone hopping,I was wondering if adding another pair or another clown species will be safe to add in my 34G?

Would most likely be a bad idea. Clowns are pretty territorial and 34g isn't enough for 2 pairs.

The more you add, the more the original pair will kill. Unless they're bigger and meaner then they will kill the original pair.

u can take them out of the tank for about 2 to 3 weeks then introduse them together they will get along for a bit , but they will eventually fight

How about a Single Nice sized Maroon?

IMO a large female Maroon is too big for a 34. They get a good 5". If I were you I would be happy with the pair I have. Not sure if they would kill the Maroon but the Maroon may well kill them. From what I have heard they are the most aggressive of the clowns. Or close to it.

Just a statement in relation to Clowns in general being a Maroon was mentioned as being as mean as well.

Are you saying that the Clarki was in with this pair and did OK? Or is the Clarki unrelated to this whole thing?

I would never say 100% that they will NEVER get along with another clown or pair just that it is HIGHLY unlikely. I've seen stranger things than 2 pairs of clowns coexisting in a 34g.
